I'd love to introduce you to my daughter-in-law (Meriden), another kind of spinner: she spins wool (and, soon, maybe some of my cats' fur) into yarns, and makes amazing sweaters, scarves, and mittens; she's also a gifted photographer and draftsperson.

Very cool, Lois, I'd love to meet her. I've spun dog hair as well as some other kinds of animal fur on a drop spindle. Never tried cat though.
